Just wanted to take a moment and reflect on 2011. It was a very exciting year for me! Our company, Home Experts Realty was born on tax day of 2011. We have since grown to almost 50 agents in such a short amount of time. We've already opened 4 offices with more planned to open in the near future. I am constantly asked about whether or not I work with "land contracts." In all honesty, I am very busy and I don't have the experience nor desire to work with them. I am constantly driving clients all over SW Ohio showing them HUDS and foreclosed homes and I need a little breathing room here and there.

Considering that we belong to such a new and unique group of Realtors, I feel it's best to exchange information amongst ourselves that might assist us in developing our careers and knowledge even further. Just some food for thought...
IF you are an agent and want to survive in this marketplace, you seriously need to brush up on your knowledge and/or skills involving short sales.
I've written several contract offers lately and due to the price declines present, the majority of the offers that I am writing are on short sale properties.
That's my advice for the day to my fellow colleagues!

After speaking with a local lender recently, he informed me that projections for the Montgomery County Ohio area will be blasted with a new round of foreclosures in October.
Hopefully with all of the recent changes in the lending guidelines and new government regulations this type of negative information will become a thing of the past.
