estate: Cash Funds Majority of Fort Hood Foreclosure Sales for First Half of 2010 - 07/12/10 06:27 PM
Fort Hood foreclosure sales have been fairly brisk for the first half of 2010. The closed sales tallied at 239 units, with 83 of those homes paid for in cash. VA loans (81 units) financed the next largest segment of those foreclosed homes for sale, while conventional loans and FHA loanfinancing were just about tied for the remainder of the sales. If you are planning on buying a foreclosure for sale in the Killeen Fort Hood Area, and you want to use your VA loan benefit, remember that the property must qualify for the loan. It must meet VA condition requirements. Not every foreclosed

estate: Killeen Fort Hood Houses for Sale - Will you buy the right one? - 06/30/10 05:44 PM
There are plenty of Killeen Fort Hood homes for sale at the moment, and I think I may have seen them all this summer! Last weekend's buyers and I saw 11 houses for sale in Killeen and Copperas Cove, and seems like all we saw was one home after another with NO landscaping, ankle high weeds, expanses of dead grass yard, and even more homes for sale with untreated wood privacy fencing that is suffering in the hot sun. We tried open houses, realtor open houses, computed price adjustments. We looked at listings for similar homes in that subdivision that were priced $20,000 above ours, and of course, they were

estate: Beautiful Home, Bargain Price, No Buyers - Where Do We Go From Here? - 04/26/09 03:35 PM
It's a simple question. Where do we go from here? These sellers are a wonderful military family who understand that the local Fort Hood real estate market is in a state of flux. So they have made sure to keep their home spotlessly clean (with 4 children!!). They've installed a couple of upgrades to make sure they are more competitive in the market. They are ready to show at the drop of a hat. AND they understand and agree that they must price their home aggressively to get it sold $10k under market) as well as agree to pay all the buyer closing costs and
