Survival , This scene is pretty enough to make it worth living for. I didn't move here so that I could survive if the world came to destruction. I moved here because it is pretty, and peaceful. In order to live here I did have to create my own existence. I am fairly self sufficient at my land. It is off the grid, meaning, there is no proprietary power to the property. Actually there is none for miles. My electricity is solar, I have a private well and rain catchment. I use bottled propane for cooking and heating and refrigeration. The Gadsden Hotel was first established in 1907, five years before Arizona got it's statehood. This 5 story, 160 room hotel has quite a Historic and ghostly history. The hotel is grand, yet inviting, to both the living and to those whom refuse to pass on. It's been a central place for people to meet up at for decades. Check out this hotel from the past and maybe visit with someone from the past also.

Ok so I have been lax at my blog posting and twittering. My excuse? I have been very busy, I had my first ever solo art show in November. I worked my arse off for 6 months getting a body of work together for this. You can see some shots from the show on my art blog.
