A Realtor® is only as strong as their network and their marketing. My Coldwell Banker office opens up my network to hundreds of agents who are getting listings in who, since I keep them apprised of what my buyers are looking for, can come to me when they have something that may fit my buyers needs. This means I know about listings before they hit market and can be prepared with information and advice for my clients more quickly than other Realtors may be able to. As a buyer you’re not only purchasing a home, but you’re purchasing a neighborhood, school district, parks, downtown, etc. It’s extremely important to learn more about the community that can be the perfect fit for your family and goals, before buying a home there. This can be part of the contingencies in the offer of a home, and it will give you time to go to the schools, the grocery, and downtown and see what kind of vibe you get. I’ve learned over my time that most of my clients are very intelligent and smart people with very busy lives. Because of this I definitely make sure that I maximize the time I have with them so that they get the information they need to make good decisions and be able to search on their own when they have the free time to do so. I know that buying a home is a time consuming process and I try to minimize the amount of my client’s time that it takes during the home search, and behave as the conduit of knowledge (0 comments)
