If you live in the Tech Terrace neighborhood, adjacent to Texas Tech University, you certainly live in one of the most popular Lubbock neighborhoods.  I have been giving frequent updates on the real estate market in Lubbock in general and in Tech Terrace in particular and I've been amazed to see the dwindling supply of Tech Terrace homes. 

 

If you want to buy a home in Tech Terrace your options are limited since there are only 13 homes for sale here today, listed on Lubbock's MLS.  There is a nice variety still!  Homes here range from a 936 square foot cottage for $92,000.00 to a home with over 5000 square feet, priced at $549,000.00.  Want to see a home in Tech Terrace?  Call me and let's set a time.  Want to sell a Tech Terrace home?  This is an amazing time, seller's market, buyers almost clamoring for more choices here.   I can help you get it sold - I appreciate and understand the value of this area unlike some agents in Lubbock. 

My listing at 3001 21st is priced at $175,000.00, is a 4/2/2, and has over 2600 square feet.  This is bargain for the area.  This cool old home was built in 1938 and has a quirky layout with no true master bedroom.  It is only two blocks from Texas Tech! 

If you want to live in this cool area, don't despair.  I imagine that each week there will be new listings coming on the market.  But gone for now are the days of 30+ homes to choose from in Lubbock's Tech Terrace.
