Just because you are working with a real estate agent does not mean you are working with a REALTOR®. Not all licensees are equal.  Only those licensees that have chosen to join the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® and subscribe to a strict code of ethics are entitled to be called REALTORS®.  They are expected to maintain a higher level of knowledge of the buying and selling process and are committed to treating all parties to a transaction honestly.

REALTORS® have a wide variety of information available to them through the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®, which can be very beneficial to the buyer or seller. Not all transactions are equal either and having the ability to keep well informed assists the REALTOR® in navigating each individuals’ experience.

From this point forward, remember to ask if your real estate agent is really a REALTOR®.

Sellers have you seen your listing online?
Mary Seidel (Syracuse Realty Group)
I find it incredible that many sellers don't even see their properties online once they sign the contract. Many agents tout the importance of an internet presence but fail to present your home in its best light. Do you realize that there is a big…
