Mandatory recycling instead of more dumps in Michigan, please! - 04/14/07 10:11 PM
Waste facilities still looking for more space to dump according to a front page story in the Monroe Evening News today, April 14, 2007. For the enitre story: http://monroenews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/section?CATEGORY=FP_SEARCH Instead of finding more places to dump, can the cities and municipalities and places of businesses add paper, plastic recycling containers next to existing garbage cans? Can Environmental make it be a requirement to recycle without allowing refuse companies to charge us more to do it? Especially when they make a profit from the recyclables...Can it be part of the curriculum in all the elementary schools in Michigan?
