buyers: Facebook....looking to use social media for marketing - 06/15/10 04:52 AM
Well, I did it! I finally broke down and started my own Facebook and LinkedIn pages. It takes a lot of time to set up, but now that I have it going, I think I will be able to make it work. Here are some "rules" that I thought of, that I need to live by: 1. Remember it's purpose. It is easy to start getting really personal on these pages, but I need to keep my content focused. 2. Schedule time. Twice a week to start to add to blogs, update Facebook and other social media sites. 3. Advertise more than

buyers: How insulting! My house is worth more than that! - 06/07/08 07:20 PM
It's a tough market out there, especially for seller's who have to sell! My buyers were looking for a home, and found one they liked. After running some comps, I suggested we do a lower offer than the asking price, because the home has been on market for 60 plus days. I called the listing agent to let her know, I had good qualified buyers, and they weren't trying to be insulting by the offer, but buyer's budget and comps pointed them to this offer. The listing agent quickly responded "well of course they're going to be insulted". Here is some advice
