With all the recent storms that have went through our area we managed to be one of the lucky ones to receive damage to our house.  So today I was making phones calls from home while waiting for a gentleman to complete an estimate on replacing roof, siding, and gutters that were damage by the recent hail storms.

The gentleman after figuring out the estimate knocked on my door to gave me the estimates, before he even explained the estimates to me he proceeded to say how glad he was that I asked him to do an estimate, because he was looking for a real estate agent to help him find a home to purchase in the area.   ( I assumed he had seen my real estate sign on my car and my signs leaning against the back of my house.)

Well I put on my real estate agents hat and acted all professional.  I started to ask all the pertinent questions I needed to ask in order to help find what he was looking for.   He then asked for a business card.   HMMMMMMMMM  I had just put my box of cards in my car.   I looked down and seen my bare feet,   Oh well I will just run quick to my car and grab my box of business cards.   So off I go across the yard with him following me.......... to my amazement I step down on a bee.    OUCH!!!!!!!!!   How does one act professional when one wants to jump up and down and scream to high heaven because your foot is on fire.

Needless to say the lesson I learned to day.........no matter how excited you are to be able to be handing out a business card to someone. TAKE A MINUTE AND PUT ON SHOES BEFORE VENTURING ACROSS A LAWN FULL OF BEES.
