If you live in beautiful Methow Valley, and you have not yet paid your Okanogan County Property Taxes, here is a friendly reminder that in order to avoid late fees, the second half of your property taxes must be mailed out by tomorrow October 31, 2011. 
 I cannot remember how many times I have forgotten to send in my property taxes.  This is one of those tasks you could easily forget because you do not pay this tax each month, and it could end up way the heck down on your stack of bills and payments.

Mazama Community Bike Trail Late Fall - 10/29/11 03:57 PM
Even now late fall Methow Valley 2011 the bike trails are just spectacular.  Layers are a wise commodity as  you can get quite a range in temperatures as you pedal along. Once that sun sets BRRRRR and when you first start out it can be a bit nippy so having layers, gloves, and a hat under the bike helmet are all good ideas. However before you know it you may be stripping off those layers as you find a nice healthy sweat forming after pedaling up a few of the hills in the area.

One of the more exciting weekends in Methow Valley is right around the corner, That is right the celebration of all Hallowed Eve. 

Starting off first thing Saturday Morning is the Loup Loup Ski Swap at the Agriplex in Omak. This is a very cool place to get all kinds of recreational tools for ski adventures. The new bridge in downtown Winthrop Washington in beautiful Methow Valley has been stated to have it's finish date tomorrow October 28, 2011 according to the Methow Valley News article of October 12, 2011 front page.

That is right after buckets of unusually ginormous amounts of rain for the sunny dry slopes of the East Cascades of North Central Washington, the sun has returned, and all the fall colors came flying back with warm temperatures in the 70's.  Layers are best for the dramatic range in temperatures in the unpredictable fall and spring weather of Methow Valley.

Once again tomorrow early in the morning is the opening of the most popular hunting event in Methow Valley: Deer season.

Wow, raining on the East side of the North Cascades in beautiful Winthrop Washington. What a treat.
As I gaze out the window of the Mazama Windermere Real Estate Office, I can see the early signs that fall is here.
