Showing property in the rain - can it be successful or just a wet, bedraggled mess? Depends on you and your buyers! Selling real estate in southern California means that the weather is mostly sunny and nearly all showings are done in a pleasant climate. We are so unaccustomed to rain that buyers often cancel their showings at the first sign of inclement weather. So how does a good agent overcome this problem? How important are home inspections to a divorcing couple who are selling their home? Well, if the property is being split as part of the couples' assets, or if one of the spouses wants to keep the house, then a home inspection is vital. The divorcing couple needs to know the "true value" of the home - not just the appraised value.
