blood hound blog: Blogs and Content Resyndication - 02/24/07 01:47 AM

Over the past 24 hours, I've been a part of a rather interesting email thread between about a dozen bloggers started by Greg Swann over at the BloodHoundBlog. It started because content from some blog RSS feeds were being republished on the InmanWiki.
Many sites out there that aggregate and republish content from blog RSS feeds in one form or another, the InmanWiki was just one example (technorati, bloglines, squidoo, etc). Sometimes this resyndication cab viewed as a very valuable source of exposure, other times they can be seen as stealing content. This creates a huge grey area around the rules of content syndication.
