Sales in the Des Moines market may be off there heady peaks of 2005 and 2006 but fortunately we here in Des Moines have been somewhat insulated from the sever slowdowns experienced elsewhere.
According to local board data release in the beginning of June:
The number of solds reported for April 2008 increased 29% from March 2008. The average sale price in April reflects an increase of over $10,000 per transaction over the prior month which is consistent with a spring market ramp up.
