listings: Update the taxes in the MLS - 08/01/10 02:15 PM
We were just mailed out our new property taxes for 2010. In our area, our property taxes have gone down an average of 10%. Every listing I have checked shows the old property taxes. The last one I checked was $300 high. Check your listings and update the taxes in the MLS.

listings: Would you hire this agent? - 06/03/10 09:19 AM
I ran across these comments in a short sale listing in the MLS. Today is 06/03/2010. "This property could be a really nice home for someone. We have not seen the interior so do not know if it will go FHA. Seller is working on getting a key this weekend. Please write offers subject to interior inspection. We should have a lockbox on the property no later than Monday 3-29-10, but call agent first."

listings: Pricing your listing and internet search engines. - 12/14/07 06:47 PM
If you go to an internet search engine, it asks for the price of the home you are looking for. People enter in from $300,000 to $350,000. You should consider this when pricing a home. If your listing is priced at $299,999 it will not show up in the above search. If you price your listing at $300,000 it will show up in the above search and in the $250,000 to $300,000 search. That $1 costs you 50% of your exposure on the internet.
