charlotte real estate: Outdoor Entertaining - 05/31/12 11:30 AM
With summer just around the corner, it’s time for backyard parties and entertaining. Here are some helpful tips to get started. Pick a color palette, preferably choose 3 main colors, and build off of that. Think outside the box! Don’t have a patio table big enough for all your guests? Then, weather permitting, bring out your dining room table. If your party goes into the evening, use string lights to encircle the umbrella or use candles on tables and patio ledges. There are endless possibilities for outdoor entertaining, just use your imagination! For more ideas, click the link below. Outdoor Entertaining

charlotte real estate: Spring in the Air!!! - 03/14/12 07:48 AM
It's time to get outside and reclaim your yard! Start simply by pulling those pesky weeds, mowing the grass and edging always keeps a yard looking neat and complete. Now visualize how you would want your yard to look and take action. If your yard is on the small side, think vertical. Try selecting taller hedges, trees and fences. But leave some space in between so that you won't feel so closed in. For any sized yard, clustering is very important. Typically it's done in odd numbers, grouping in 3's or 5's. And don't be afraid of texture, color and size.

charlotte real estate: Charlotte Foreclosures - Buy a HUD home for $100 down with Equity! - 11/10/08 01:05 PM
HUD has a program that allows owner occupant buyers through an FHA loan to purchase a home and put down as little as $100. In the past there were many 100% mortgages but now lenders are requiring a minimum of 3% down payment plus nearly another 3% for closing costs so on a $200,000 home a buyer will have to come up with close to $12,000. Most people today are living pay check to pay check and are having a difficult time coming up with a down payment in a timely matter. So, a buyer can ask the seller to pay

charlotte real estate: Charlotte Real Estate - Charlotte, NC Foreclosure impact on new communities - 12/18/07 03:39 PM
Foreclosures have risen across the nation including Charlotte, NC and will continue to rise. In Charlotte the highest foreclosures were West, North and East Charlotte and most were under new construction homes under $150,000. Builders offer incentives, bonuses, have preferred lenders to try and sell a home to anyone who is interested in there homes and now as the Charlotte Observer reports many of these High risk borrowers are foreclosing on there home. When a foreclosure happens you will generally be left with a vacant home that is not taken care of, including lawn and vandelism break ins increase in that

charlotte real estate: Charlotte, NC Real Estate - Charlotte Foreclosure's - 12/18/07 03:12 PM
The Charlotte Observer recently had an article on the high foreclosure area around Charlotte and most were from new communities under $150,000 in West, North and East Charlotte. The areas are outside of I-277 and inside I-485 and where the proposed I-485 will be going. It is very unfortunate for familys who were able to be apart of the American Dream and own a there own home to then have it taken from them and ruin there credit for a period of time. Apparently unethical lending practices helped family's obtain loan approval even though they were considered High risk borrowers. In one
