Traditionally, the winter holidays are a slow time for the real estate industry. People are less interested in buying and selling property. They are more interested in spending quality time with friends and family. This makes the holidays an opportune time for a realtor to focus on other aspects of thier real estate career. To help, we polled our office of real estate experts and real estate license exam educators to come up with the six things a realtor should do during the winter holidays.

In the State of Alabama, exams, licensing, and continuing education for real estate agents are governed by the Alabama Real Estate Commission.
There are two basic real estate licenses in Alabama, a broker's license and a salesperson's license. Generally, a salesperson's license allows the holder to sell real estate only under the auspices of a licensed broker. (Salesperson's licenses are generally what people refer to when they say they have a real estate license.)
