A few thoughts on networking from you local Brockton Real Estate Specialist. How do you present yourself in 60 seconds and make it impactfull? Here are a few basic tips that often many of us overlook. - Introduce yourself clearly and concisely. Though this may seem obvios, it is oftn overlooked or done poorly. First, say your name and company, then ask for the same of your listener.
- Be specific about your line of work. Don't say " I am a Realtor" be specific "I specilize in residential sales in the local area ."
- Organize your introduction. Prepare a 15 second opening statement that describes what you do. If you would like to add a 15-20 second story to describe your work do so. Stories help create and maintain ilistener interest.
- Inform, don't sell. Don't come on with a sales pitch. When in doubt, remember a low key intro is always better.
- Be yourself. Learn what makes people receptive to you and master that. Authenticity is always the best.
- Be an avid listener. When someone is speaking, it is tempting to be thinking of a response. But careful listening builds goodwill, trust, and confidence.
- Follow-up. Always send a personal note to follow-up your conversations.

At one of recent training event our OP shared theses facts about where buyers will be coming from in the future and I thought this was very interesting. The U.S. population in the early years of the 21st century is undergoing profound change with increased immigration, a huge age group entering retirement age, another generation in their prime home buying years, large regional migrations and more. All of these factors will have a huge impact on home purchasing and selling habits and home buyers' design preferences - with major implications for residential developers. * A massive home sell-off by retiring baby boomers could spur a significant contraction in the home building industry. * The existing supply of large-lot homes, mostly located in the suburbs, may already be sufficient to meet needs through 2025 in many parts of the nation. * Recent immigrants will be a significant force in the home buying market. * Single women will be increasingly active in the home buying market. * Though those over age 65 buy fewer homes than younger people, the enormous size of the baby boom generation means that senior citizens will be a major home buying group and could very well be a prime market for new construction.
