Completed in 1974, there are 188 apartments in eight 2 and 3 story buildings. The majority of units are 1bedroom/1bath. 2 bedroom units have a lofted ceiling, with the 2nd bedroom and bathroom upstairs, similar to the Maui Kamaole complex nearby. Today was another beautiful day on Maui - the Kona storm has passed and things are back to normal here on the north shore.
This was the scene at Ho'okipa Beach Park, with the usual smattering of beach-goers, surfers, windsurfers and kite-boarders. Waves were mid size, nothing like the 20-footers we had last week. With the warm water and gentle tradewinds, it was a perfect day for going to the beach.
