Poor Alice in Hulaland is getting the squeeze. Paia Maui update. If you've been to Paia Maui you probably noticed the cute store on Baldwin Avenue, called Alice in Hulaland. It's been a fixture in this beach town for many years, and one of the best boutiques for some really unique clothes and accessories. Lots of celebrities like to come here to shop. Well move over Alice because there's a new building preparing to put the squeeze on you! I don't know what it's going to be, but it will be big, taking up most of the vacant lot next door. PAIA RESTAURANTS If you're on Maui and thinking about where to eat, I have a website that will help. Paia town has many great restaurants, as well as stores where you can buy food to go. Mana Foods, the health food store, has a great deli and salad bar, which I frequent often. For a really good fish dinner, we always like to go to the Paia Fish Market and get the Seafood Caesar Salad, with mahi mahi. Dining is informal and family style on long tables and benches, so you can meet other diners. It's usually pretty busy in there, so (2 comments)
