Access to West Maui beaches is getting easier with an online database that will be an ongoing project. Recent attention on this matter has caused the County of Maui to get serious about enforcing public parking spots at the resorts. Time limits on the public parking zones are also not legal, though some resorts post signs stating the time limits.

The Sophie Swim event in Kaanapali Maui kicks off this year on Sunday August 28, 2016, from 7 - 10 am. This fun event is for anyone 12 and older, in memory of Sophie DeLoria. It's an open water 2 kilometer swim from Kahekili Beach Park to Black Rock and back. It's a charitable event for the whole family to enjoy and participate in. Prizes will be awarded to winners and runners up. Kaanapali Maui sunset brokers open at Honua Kai A big MAHALO goes out to Old Republic Title and Escrow for hosting and organizing a sunset brokers open at the Honua Kai Resort in Kaanapali Maui last Friday. Some of us got to ride the bus over from the Shops at Wailea and back, making for a fun filled trip. Akina Aloha Tours provided the comfortable wheels. Sales Volume - Residential Sales dipped slightly from October to 67 units, however were the second best month of the last 12 months.
