maui farmers and farms: Have you ever tried goat milk ice cream?

I've always wondered why there's no goat milk ice cream. You know, some people can't tolerate cow milk, but sheep or goat milk is usually fine. Well today I found a vendor at the Upcountry Farmer's Market in Pukalani Maui who was selling goat ice cream! They make it themselves at Haleakala Creamery, a boutique farm in Kula Maui. Caramel sauce is their primary product.
Of course I had to taste it to see if it was just a little goaty tasting, haha. But it was no goaty, and it was just like "normal" ice cream. So don't be scared to try … (12 comments)
