The Harbor Shops and Restaurants - Maalaea Harbor Village, Maui Hawaii If you plan to visit Maalaea on Maui be sure to stop at the Harbor Shops where you can browse the stores and grab a bite to eat. It's located right next door to the Maui Ocean Center aquarium which is probably on your list of things to do on Maui anyway. Looking for some cool trinkets and souvenirs to take home? You can find all that here, and more. There's even an Arts & Craft Fair every day, so watch for those signs. Oceanfront Maui homes

maui hawaii: Maui west side beach pictures - just some nice photos to enjoy - 10/02/08 09:09 PM
Coming back from looking at some Lahaina Maui condos yesterday I stopped and snapped some scenery shots. You know, it's really hard to take a crappy picture here on Maui. Here's a couple of nice beach scenes taken just north of the pali tunnel. click click click. It actually looked way better in real life, so I would encourage you to come on over and see for yourself. Hope you like them. Want to see another post with pictures of Lahaina Maui? Aloha from Maui - Georgina M. Hunter R(S) e-Pro - (808) 283-0635 - EMAIL - My Maui Website

maui hawaii: Dear Diary - Nice couple - First time home buyers - 08/12/08 01:17 AM
Dear Diary, On Saturday I met with some first time home buyers, nice young local couple, from Hawaii. They are renting in Pukalani and want to move closer to work... she works at the Maui Memorial Hospital, him at the golf course in Waikapu. We looked at a unit in the Iliahi at Kehalani complex. These are nice 2 story 4-plex townhouse condos. They really like the end units because they have more windows, which makes sense. They like this development because it's new and nice looking, and the views. (not interested in Kehalani Gardens ... too close to the prison) It's a perfect

maui hawaii: What's a WWOOFer?- I got a WWOOFer! (Part 2) - 03/21/08 12:47 AM
Part 2 - I got a WWOOFER! Remember when I posted about I WANT A WOOFER - WHERE CAN I FIND ONE? Well here's an update. We had only 5 inquiries since that time - and I thought they would be lining up for a chance to stay for free on a Maui farm: female - 21 years old, living in Los Angeles, no experience, coming for 3 weeks (in the height of our visitor schedule). I have to admit this one didn't strike a chord with me, so I wrote her back and kind of emphasized the negative aspects of the situation. Never heard back from her. male -

maui hawaii: Maui Street Sign Graffiti - does this happen to you? - 01/13/08 05:43 AM
Maui Street Signs - Sticker Graffiti Sometimes I like to take pictures of goofy things, like these various street signs around Paia and Haiku on Maui. People seem to have a lot of time on their hands, and enjoy putting stickers on things. I have to admit it makes for a laugh once in a while. Who are these people? Where do they get those stickers? I recognize some of them coming from the surfing industry.... we have a lot of surf punks in Paia. All eyes seem to be on this one

maui hawaii: Ho'okipa Beach Park - Maui HI - December 2007 - 12/11/07 01:51 PM
Today was another beautiful day on Maui - the Kona storm has passed and things are back to normal here on the north shore. This was the scene at Ho'okipa Beach Park, with the usual smattering of beach-goers, surfers, windsurfers and kite-boarders. Waves were mid size, nothing like the 20-footers we had last week. With the warm water and gentle tradewinds, it was a perfect day for going to the beach. I stopped in with my dad and we both took some pictures. It didn't long to get a bunch of good shots, and we were back on our
