pukalani superette: Pukalani Superette - Pukalani Maui Hi 96768 - 12/24/07 03:37 AM

Pukalani Superette is a great little store in upcountry Maui. It's on Makawao Avenue, at the intersection with the old Haleakala Highway. Locals know where it is. If you can't find what you're looking for in this grocery store, you better head down the road to the Pukalani Terrace Center.
This store has the best pupus, if you're hungry and you need a snack RIGHT NOW. The other day I stopped in with my dad, and we walked out with some fried teriyaki strips and chicken wing drummettes and we ate them in the car! They make really good local specialties like potato … (8 comments)
