MAUI NORTH SHORE SURF
Today they are calling for waves to reach 30 feet on the north shore of Maui. Here are some pictures of the waves at midday, Feb 14, 2008. They get a lot bigger than this at times. This is the north shore of Maui - between Paia town and Ho'okipa Beach Park. Further out to the east will bring you to the famous surf break called JAWS. Today is not "epic" enough for Jaws, but some tow in surfers will go went there anyway, and had tons of fun. Maui is a playground for the hard core surfers, windsurfers, … (9 comments)
