What's a back-up offer in Hawaii, and why would I use one? A back-up offer is used when a desired property is already under contract with a buyer.  The sellers have accpeted a purchase contract on their home and both parties are going through the steps to complete the sale. Here in Hawaii a back-up offer addendum will be attached to a new purchase contract submitted by another buyer, in an attempt to be the primary buyer should things go off track.

And now for something completely different.  After all the serious posts I've made lately, I need a breath of fresh air... so here it is.
If you were on Maui you could be eating this delicious meal at Mama's Fish House Restaurant in Kuau.  Their website is a pleasure to peruse as you listen to Hawaiian music.
We took some clients/friends out  to Mama's for a special treat, and my hubby got the steak and lobster because he has always dreamed of it.  It was awesome!  I had the mahi-mahi stuffed with crab and lobster, encrusted with macadamia nuts.... damn it … (13 comments)
