A recent oceanfront sale caused me to write this market update for the Haiku Maui area.
30 Hale Pili Way just closed for full price of $1,295,000 - a beautiful 2 acre lot in a prestigious neighborhood with multi-million dollar homes.  This parcel had been on and off the market for over 10 years, with many price reductions and changes of listing companies.  Hawaii Life Real Estate Brokers got it sold finally!

What's selling?  The past month shows 4 residential sales in Kula, ranging from $530,000 (house on half an acre) to $1,185,000 (house on 18 acres).  In the same time there were 5 vacant land sales, priced from $75,000 (Hawaiian Homelands Leasehold) to $895,000 (3.5 acres with water meter).  These 5 properties were shown on the Upcountry Realtor Caravan for March.

5 single family homes sold in Haiku last month:
84 S. Holokai Rd. sold for $575,000 after 283 days on market (DOM).  2 acres with a 1,902 sf single story 3BD/3BA home and some other small structures.  Small ocean view and plenty of usable land. 490 Kaupakalua Rd. sold for $580,000 after 40 DOM.  It was really more time on the market but the listing changed hands a time or two.  Historic 2BD/1.5BA home with another building used as a dwelling and a cute yoga building, all on .6 acres.  Very jungly and … (5 comments)
