Bath Junkie asserts, "We want everything in your life to smell good, be good for you and be safe for the environment."  For that reason they have chosen to carry cruelty free products, most of which are paraben and SLS-free.  SLS stands for Sodium … (0 comments)

Bainbridge now has three indoor facilities geared toward young children: KiDiMu (the recently relocated Kids Discovery Museum), the Peacock Family Center (in the former KiDiMu site), and the new and improved Kidsup! Parent Child Center.
In the Pavilion, the Kidsup! Did You Know about the Grant? - 07/06/10 06:54 PM
Bainbridge Island is one of only 20 communities to win a multimillion dollar federal grant designed to help homeowners and businesses retrofit existing homes to achieve lower energy costs.  To implement this, the Conservation Services Group will assess homes and give them a list of upgrades and retrofits.  This assessment is a step towards eligibility for a low interest loan program funded by the grant.  Additionally, Conservation Services will give out some small free upgrades like low-flow shower heads and fluorescent light bulbs.
