Does anyone have any experience w/BNI?  When I first heard of BNI I was intrigued, then when I went to my first meeting as a guest I was hooked.  The referrals were flying around the table.  WOW!  I was in awe.  Then I went to a 2nd chapter and saw the same thing.  And a 3rd.  So, of course I decided that I HAD to get involved.  Since there were no chapters in my area with a Realtor position available, I went to a planning meeting and found 2 others who were in the same boat as me.  So we tried to get started w/the help of a wonderful director to hold our hand.

Now of course, we started this in December which was probably not a good move.  We have all been trying like crazy to get people just to come to a meeting and see what it is all about.  We know that once they come they will be hooked just like we were.  But no one will come.  No one wants to put the time or commitment in to getting these referrals.  WHY?  I just don't understand.  So our group of 3 is now down to 2, well actually it is still at 3 because I did get one other person to commit.

So I thought I would put this out on Active Rain.  Someone must have some encouraging words for me and advise on how to make this work.  Any ideas on how to get people to go to a meeting?  Thanks.
