If you are not in the metropolitan New York area or New Jersey you may not have heard of Foxton's Realty. For many of us their entry into the real estate in this area was our first with discounters. They advertised 2% full service, took listings which they then tried to sell on their own without putting the listing on the MLS and made an agreement with their sellers that after a certain amount of time, if they couldn't sell the seller would agree to 3% and they would put it out on the MLS.
