Homeowners Insurance and Social Media - 04/27/11 05:18 AM
Postimg where you are or saying you will be home in an hour on social media sites may soon being to cost you more for your homeowners insurance.  Social media is becoming a great tool for criminals targeting homes to rob.  When you go on Twitter or Foursquare and say "be home in an hour" not only does the person you are addressing that to know but so does a thief who also knows how much time they have until you get home.
It is possible that when you apply for Homeowners Insurance in the future you will be asked if … (4 comments)

Changes to the Code of Ethics January 1, 2011 - 04/21/11 10:48 AM
It is possible to be a Real Estate Agent or Broker without belonging to the National Association of Realtors® (NAR).  The industry wide Code of Ethics is a document that applies to agents, associate brokers and brokers who DO belong to the National Association of Realtors®.  This does not mean that licensed agents or brokers who do not belong to NAR are unethical it just means that there is no document and standardized code of ethics that they follow.

Preparing Your Home To Sell in New Orleans - 04/11/11 07:16 AM
Thinking about selling a home that you have lived n for many years can be really overwhelming for a lot of people. Attics are full of boxes with memories, kids may have left home but their stuff hasn't, if you have a basement that can be full of boxes as well. Often homeowners don't just want to throw everything but rather feel a need to to go through the boxes and see what they want to keep. This process is often a trip down memory lane any very emotional.
