I have to laugh when I see things like this. Are they really serious? It is simple to get on our bid list. Get validated, but you can't get validated by a lender until you get a job. That is a Catch 22 isn't it? How do you get around that? Simply go to www.203kcontractors.com and sign up. They will give you classes on the FHA 203k which will help you understand the process, they will check your financial condition and list you on their site. That is the question that seems to come quite allot recently. Wow, it seems also that everyone has read the guidelines... but only the part of the guideline that resonates throughout the 203k world. They are referring to the single sentence, taken out of context that says something like "...a maximum of five draws" Hello, everyone, now that has hit Bank of America. We've been training 203k consultants since 1995 for this program and it never ceases to amaze me the questions that come up during the training... We used to provide this training in a 2-day intensive training session where we ate lunch on the fly while we worked... there was no time for questions as we put out allot of info in a short period of time Today it is all done over the Internet and webinars and the questions you get before they read the material would be answered if they really read the materials.
