Fellow Realtors....I need your help. You see, I am a Principal Broker and Owner of a real estate company in Bend, Oregon. I am constantly working for my clients to make sure that their listing with me receives the very best EXPOSURE possible. I use the traditional methods to "get the word out" on every one of my listings....and the one I value the most is the very one who is actually working hard to STOP ME from informing more than 1000 local Realtors directly by email that I have a new listing! Last summer I purchased an EXIT REALTY franchise for Bend, Oregon. Part of our training took place in Toronto, Canada, the corporate headquarters for this fast growing franchise. The week long brokers training class included a few hours of training with door-knocking guru, Bill Nasby. Among those in our group was an EXIT franchisee who had taken a 2-3 day seminar on door-knocking techniques from Bill Nasby. It literally changed her life. Really. I am looking for used, but fully operational "Talking House Transmitters." I don't need the signage , but need only the transmitters and AC adapters. There must be a few of you out there who no longer use the product....and if they are working I am interested in purchasing them from you. Please. They must be working. I have six of the 3 minute models and prefer that they are no older than six years old. Talk to me!

Help! About six or seven years ago I saw a product for Realtors that I can no longer find. I am hoping our network can help me! The product was very simple. It was a lighting product that was placed outdoors and directing an image on the side of a garage or building. A Realtor could put, for example, "FOR SALE by EXIT REALTY" on the side of a structure that looked to measure perhaps 10 ft. X 12 ft.. It looked like a great product to get the attention of drivers-by....but I can no longer find it! I have (2 comments)

In full disclosure here I must tell you I am an EXIT franchisee. I purchased the EXIT franchise and have found that the residual concept is real and very profitable for all who sponsor others into EXIT. I can easily demonstrate thousands of dollars that I have received in just 6 months by sposoring realtors into EXIT. I know that Keller Williams, like EXIT, is experiencing tremendous growth. My question is, why? I understand what brings agents to EXIT....but why Keller Williams? Are there any Keller Williams associates who have seen a little more than several hundred dollars in yearly profit-sharing (1 comments)

I have been a Realtor for over a decade. I have worked to come up with creative ideas on how to do business better, but an agent (a new agent at that) in my office came up with a fantastic idea today that is one I have never considered or even heard of.....at least in our marketplace. About 8 years ago I purchased a product I am sure most of you have heard of. I purchased 6 Talking House transmitters. If you are not familiar with this product, it is a simple AM transmitter that makes it possible to record information directly ( and with eaze ) to the unit with information about....well.....anything. Most Realtors have purchased them to place in homes so potential buyers can hear features of a home from their automobile. Here is how I have used mine to help get a slight edge: 1.) Okay. Here is the deal. I have been a Realtor for well over a decade and have used many methods to market my real estate services. I first started using the 800 Call Capture system when I was selling in Iowa in 2000-2001.....in a market of just 7000 people. I averaged at least 10 to 15 calls daily. I was very happy with the services from Arch Telecom and their 800 system. Last year I was sitting at a basketball meeting for parents of my sons high school basketball team. His school has a strong and winning tradition and is respected all over Oregon. As we were going through the plans for the basketball teams season we were alerted to that fact that the school was unable to provide transportation (buses) for at least several games....and mainly because of budget cuts. As I sat in the meeting I thought how I might be able to assist the program from a personal standpoint. As I thought I realized I could potentially provide funds (0 comments)

I was recently reading an article talking about the two ways Realtors have to earn income. The article said, "one thing that plagues a lot of agents in this business is the uncertainty or inconsistency of income. It's been called the Bungee Cord income," this article stated. And you know....they are right. But there is an opportunity for nearly every agent in America that can change that! I am the owner and principal broker of EXIT REALTY BEND (Oregon). For the past few years I have examined every opportunity....every franchise....in trying to figure out what was best for me and for the agents (0 comments)
