I am curious how other Realtors & Principal Brokers and offices handle a commission on a land sales contract.  Here is an example....and only an example....Let's say the property I listed is $500K.  The offer is a contract for $50K down with 20 payments of $5000 monthly and the balance to be paid in full at the end of the 20th month. The offer was brought to me from a buyers agent from another compnay.  Does the listing & selling office receive their commission at the beginning of the contract and from the $50K paid down ( at 6% that would be $30K) or upon final … (6 comments)
