I get asked from time to time, when will the market get better?  While I do not know the exact date, I can tell you this.  One way to forecast the future is to look at past trends.  What the real estate market has done in the past is a good indicator of what it may do in the future.  Makes sense right?  No one person knows when things will turn around.  Plus, things aren't that bad everywhere.  If you look at Portland, Oregon you will see that it was number 9 on the top ten hottest markets in the US.  … (0 comments)

If you are looking at buying a house, now is the time!!! How many times have you heard that in the past week, month, year?  I am guessing very many.  So is it the right time to buy?  Well, it all depends on what is important to you. I have spent a lot of time lately showing homes in the Sandy, Gresham, Troutdale and Portland area.  With the inventory levels being as high as they are, it seems to be taking buyers a bit longer to make a decision.  To me, this is a great chance to educate my buyers as much as possible.  We all of the homes that we look at, whether in person or on the internet, it educates them on what they can get for their money.  Will they choose a home that is already updated, or save some money and purchase a home that … (4 comments)
