Kaufman County Run-Off Election Results are in and they are as follows:
In the run-off race for Kaufman County District Attorney, incumbent Rick Harrison was defeated by opponent Mike McLelland. McLelland garnered 58.43 percent of the votes while Harrison received 41.57 percent of the votes.
In the run-off race for Precinct 4 Commissioner, Tom Manning defeated opponent Joe Windham with 790 votes to Mannings 730 votes. Close Race indeed!
In Precinct 2 Justice of the Peace Run-Off, Patricia Ashcroft defeated Wade Gent 867 votes to 609 votes. This will be Ashcroft's second time as Precinct 2 Justice of the Peace.
