Today I was interviewed by a HUD representative who is in Lake Charles verifying real estate data and stats for the Lake Charles LA area.
During our visit the HUD representative told me that HUD showed Lake Charles, LA as a dull market and the statistics were from 2010. Dull market is far from the truth! As I shared in my interview, we are low on home inventory and need to prepare for the boom we expect!

Today I met my buyers at the house they are purchasing to conduct our final walk through. We are scheduled to close this Friday and this will be my first closed transaction for 2011!! There is a reason more homes sell with REALTOR representation than For Sale by Owner.
As a consumer if you needed representation in a legal matter would you let your daughter represent you? The answer is NO unless your daughter is an Attorney.
This is still America and homeowners are free to sell their own property, however as a For Sale By Owner there are some issues that will come up that you will not be able to address simply because For Sale By Owners are not licensed REALTORS. For instance FSBO's do not understand fiduciary responsibility.
