Living in Charlotte, NC gives you the best of both worlds - Mountains and Beaches - 08/10/10 07:58 AM
The beauty of living in Charlotte, NC is that you have the ability to enjoy not only the beaches of North Carolina, but also the Blue Ridge mountains.
This summer my family took our annual trip to the coast and stayed in beautiful Ocean Isles. It is a great family destination with a variety of rental accommodations to choose from.

Summer Sale for Birkdale, Gilead Ridge, MacAulay and Stephens Grove not bad - Huntersville, NC Real Estate - 08/04/10 11:45 AM
Summer home sales in the Huntersville, NC area have been somewhat slow, but a few neighborhoods continue to stay strong.
There have been over 30 closings for Birkdale, MacAulay, Stephens Grove and Gilead Ridge just in the months of June and July. I also believe there will be a "flurry"of activity in the coming weeks just because people are looking to get in before the start of school.
I would highly recommend any of the above neighborhoods, as well as some others, for anyone moving to the area.  Check out links below to view all homes for sale in those subdivisions.
