My husband and I were awakened early this am to some strange vibrations and noises. I initially told him it was probably just the wind, and that I had the windows opened and it just might be extra windy outside. He got up and looked around and said "you know it was probably from an earthquake." I secretly thought to myself, oh ok whatever you say,( I just wanted to go back to sleep...) and that he might be right, as I have never experienced one and I don't think he ever has either.

I am so excited. We just had a baby shower for my daughter-in-law and my first grandson is coming in early May. (I already have a granddaughter that I totally adore, more on that sometime maybe in another post...)
I guess you can tell from the little booties on that cake that it is a boy that is coming. But, he is going to be my little boy and I get to give him back because that is the privilege of being the grandmother.
