Thanks to all who stopped by 3234 Planters Lane in Jacksonville, NC today for a fantastic lunch catered by Lisa Davila. Dyal Photography was there to snap pics of local Realtors with Santa. The American Cancer Society and it’s major annual fundrasier, Relay for Life (http://www.relayforlife.org/), is a cause near and dear to our hearts. Jacksonville Board of Realtors man of the hour, Mike FX Burke was gracious enough to reprise his role for us as jolly St. Nick. It’s that time of year again! Open air concerts, fishing championships and festivals. Check out the new and improved website: http://www.swansborofestivals.com/ . Arts by the sea this year is June 11, 9-6 with a fantastic wine tasting from 5-8. Fourth of July celebration of course falls on the 4th and the Mullet festival is October 8-9 and the Holiday flotilla is November 25.

There's a possibility it's the caffeine talking but ever experience a good gut-burn that makes you feel like you're on the right path to something fun and great and mutually beneficial? I'm there, enjoying the burn and the late night epiphanies and brain storming sessions. After a trail workout in the rain, my pal April and I (and her jog stroller with the nice and dry baby Leah inside) stumbled out of the woods in time to see the Kindness bus trying to get out of the Parkwood Elem parking lot and get cut off, twice. I'm interested to see what karma those folks enjoyed the rest of the day. Had a chance to meet Bob, his dog Bogart who was dashing and check out the bus and all its amazing quotes. For those that attended last year, no explanation is necessary, was an unbelievably good time!!!
