Chandler 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular
The kids carnival at this southeast Valley celebration features a 35-foot water slide, a 24-foot climbing wall, a dunk tank, games and other interactive amusements. The Cactus Bike Push, Pull, Pedal Bike Parade starts at 6 p.m. Local bands M80 and Plastic Gladys play starting at 7 p.m. The Chandler Lions Club will sell food and beverages to help raise money for next year's Independence Day festival.
Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m. On-site parking is $5 per vehicle.

Where: Paseo Trail in Southwest Chandler - one of the city's most scenic routes.
The Chandler Family Bike Ride is being held in conjunction with Valley Bike Month - which is held in April - to provide families with an opportunity to get a little exercise and celebrate bicycling for recreation... and also to replace automobile trips for commuting to work, school and other short errand trips.

A slice of the Old West Lifestyle along with the Old Fashioned Culinary Competition is expected to draw wagon teams from across the western United States.
Competitors will prepare their foods from their authentic chuck wagons and use cooking methods and utensils in the style of those used in 1880s cattle drives. Meals will be available to purchase, and the event will also feature stage entertainment, family activities and shopping opportunities.

Chandler is an All-America City! National Civic League judges chose the city as one of 10 winners of the prestigious, nationwide competition on Friday, June 18, 2010.
