Are you a car buff?  Perhaps seeking a vintage muscle car, or priceless antique automobile?  Just want to view one of a kind vehicles and the other toys of the rich and famous?  Well you are in auto heaven this month.  The weather is glorious and a great time to showcase the fun cars.  
Of course the Big Daddy of them all is Barrett-Jackson.  This event has been named the "best place to see celebrities" since so many are car lovers.  Jay Leno usually attends, reportedly Patrick Dempsey (Dr. McDreamy) from Grey's Anatomy will be here plus a lot of other celebs.  But, the real stars are the cars.  Last year more than $112 million dollars worth of luxury vehicles were sold but, it's not just an auction, it really is an event.  One of my big shoulda-woulda-coulda stories is several years ago my ex and I bought a 1956 T-Bird there, we sold it about a year later, made some money and patted ourselves on the back.  Well, I'm sure you can guess it would be worth about 10 times what I got for it if I had waited.  Hmm, sounds like all the real estate stories I hear :-)

The month's grand finale will be Kruse International.  This will be at Arizona Fairgrounds starting 1/25/2008.  Again, there are gorgeous cars but this is a more upbeat, carnival like atmoshere.  Their range is from affordable collector cars to very rare vintage autos.  www.Kruse.com
