I guess there is a first time for everything. I was called by a friend of a friend for a consult on a single family home. Driving up, and looking at the non exsistent curb appeal, rotting fence, dead plants and weedy lawn--- my instinct was to flee. But a consult is a consult --- the screen door was broken, and the carpet on the stairs was filthy. Two adults(?) were  smoking heavily and the TV was blaring on full. I asked them to turn it off---The air was blue with cigarette smoke and their was an underlying very unpleasant odour that … (10 comments)
