Since I am realively new on the side that deals with agents directly I have noticed a few things that agents could improve upon:

1. Call other agents back within an acceptable time frame.

2. Keep you listings updated:

    A. Occupancy status

    B. Where the lock box is located

    C. If there are any dogs present

3. Answering their phone and making sure their voice mail is not full.

4. If they are out of town leave that message on their voice mail so agents will know when the can expect a call back.

5. If it's a combonation lock box indicate that on the listing as well as the code to get in.

This is my first blog so I am not sure of what to write about so I will do my best.

I have been a salesperson/broker for almost a year now and loving it so far. Prior to being in real esate I worked in the dental field for 20 years so it was quit a switch for me. My husband and I have owned investment property for over 10 years and enjoy most aspects of it. We were doing rehabs prior to "flips" being the thing to do. I like working with foreclosed homes or any home that may need some fix up. If your in the market for investment properties or any property that needs a little work call me. I have three children and three granddaughters, only one son left at home. My youngest son is into baseball so he keeps us on the move to games. Up until last year we traveled extensivly with his baseball team. Obviously it's really hard to show property if you're always out of town so we decided to change ball teams and not travel as much. I think I have had a great first year in the business and look forward to what the future has in store. I am very service oriented and always return calls. My number one peeve so far in this business is agents who do not return calls, if you are one of these agent please always return a call it only takes a minute of your time. My number two peeve is listings that say vacant lock box and the home has tenants. That's it for my first blog.....
