salt lake city: Afterall We are Human Beings and Want One to Work With - 09/01/09 10:05 AM
I receive The eMarketer Daily everyday and that is one of the first things I look at in the morning. I am a chart person because it tells the story right away and I can save some time. Today was no different than any other day and as I was reading the articles, this one grabbed my attention. Real Estate is on top of the list. Question was "Items for Which US Online Buyers Would Like Live Help Before Making an Online Purchase, June 2009" Here is the link to the full article... In Real Estate, no matter how great

salt lake city: Which Marketing Media Works? - 07/30/09 11:23 AM
Which media works best for you? This is what I was thinking of asking but I realized that this is question is ABSOLUTELY WRONG !!! Each media has its own targeted audience with certain results. So here it goes... If you are a real estate agent which media has been successful for you, and who was your audience? online or offline? I've set up a budget and I'm planning on spending it in the the next few days. I have three options that I'm considering at this time, but I would love to hear from you and what your experience was...

salt lake city: An age old question. Why hire a photographer to take the pictures for your listing? - 09/26/07 10:57 PM
I'm sure there were many before me who posted with this title "Why hire a photographer". This would be a nice blog to put up on my very own website, but not here. Not in AR. I'm sure everyone knows the reason why you should be hiring a photographer, but I'm going to talk about few things that has happened to me. I spend my time taking pictures, and I have zillions of images under my belt. (well, not really zillions but, at least few billions) :) Although there are forms, books and websites that will help me buy or sell my house, I'm

salt lake city: I almost threw this to the Recycle Bin - 09/26/07 09:12 AM
Although I have been an amateur photographer for over 15 years, i have never thought about making money from it. Few years ago, I got into stock photography, which is the opposite end of artistic photography. Although it was a struggle in the beginning, I was able to make it a nice hobby that pays for my new cameras and accessories, as well as enough to put aside for a nicer retirement. It is nice to collect royalties long after the image is taken and processed. But this image (below) was one of the glorious moments of my photography in the past

salt lake city: Virtual Tour Photography - Small Business - 09/25/07 02:13 PM
My wife, my brother-in-law and I have a small business providing transaction coordinating and marketing services to the agents in Utah and to be more specific in Midvale, Salt Lake City and Sugarhouse. Eventually, the business has grown and we started to serve in Sandy, Riverton, South Salt Lake and in Orem. Well, as the business grew, we have decided to separate the marketing, photography and other services that are supplement to the agents. As my partners are Realtors and I am not, i decided to take over this part. After all, I am the photographer and the graphic designer. Although my photography business
