The vacant house "next door" is for sale, a beautiful 4 bedroom cedar sided 3888 sq. foot home.  I still think of it as my old neighbor's home, but I don't know the current owners, who are flipping it, at all.
Yesterday evening, when I was driving by I noticed a truck parked in back of the house on our road.  There was a gentleman sitting in the passenger seat of the truck and we waved as I drove by.

Last month I wrote about a Big Foot sighting in the Crystal Lakes area.  I thought it was amusing at the time but now I'm not so sure.
 
Big Foot was hiding in my garage yesterday morning! 
 
As usual, I was in a hurry to get in the car and go to the office.
Loaded down with the necessary gear: briefcase, purse, camera, coffee cup and lunch, I opened the door behind the driver's seat where I always place my P.C. on the floor.

Whenever I made biscuits, my husband (nice guy that he is) always tried to compliment the chef - but I knew better.
There was no amount of butter, jelly or honey that really helped them.  I'm pretty sure he was complimenting the effort rather than the product.
Once, I overheard him telling his Aunt about my biscuits - something about "bouncing them on the floor they'd probably make a dent"... HAHA, very funny, honey.
 
OK, so I couldn't make good biscuits to save my life; no one's perfect!

So, you've decided you want to purchase a log home in the Red Feather Lakes area!  The good news is there are about 40 presently on the market.
I love log homes as you do, but once I worked with a buyer who exclaimed, "I don't want a log home, they're too drafty!"  He must have had the same experience that I did many years ago when renting a 100 year old log cabin. LaPorte, Livermore and Red Feather Lakes.
Generally, most properties that are 35 acres or more will be zoned appropriately for horses. 
Here's a little research for those horse properties that contain LESS THAN  35 acres, just in the Livermore/Red Feather Lakes area.

April Fool's Day cracked me up!
In reality, our lake was cracking up, and made some very interesting designs as the ice is slowly melting away.


 
It snowed today! Red Feather Lakes got about 4-5 inches in a short amount of time. Mother Nature likes April Fools Day too!
As it was snowing one of my associates who is sicker-than-a-dog called in for her messages.  I told our receptionist that I really needed to speak to her.  I asked her if she would take me up to a listing she had and show me around the property.
"Today?" she croaked.
