I never thought that I would say that the selection of houses was grim for my buyers. Yes, you heard me correctly. I currently have 14 buyers writing offers in the market place. Each one of them at separate times has told me that there is just not that much to pick from. This is astonishing so I decided to look up the statistics for Placer county and there were only 39 bank owned properties on the market total. This comprised all of the price ranges that are out there.

Over the years I have taken the majority of my loan applications face to face. I like to do it this way for several reasons but the most important is "we can both interview each other." The interview is a time to pre-qualify the client and let them pre-qualify you. Is this a good fit? Are we going to be able to work well together? It's Spring again and you can feel the energy in the air. As the flowers blossom so have the buyers. They are out in full force. For the longest time buyers were suppressed in the darkness of the winter. Cocooned by the news that was plastered to the TV and the papers. All negative thoughts and images. The image that most stands out in my mind was the picture of a family walking away from their home. Their daughter was holding on to her teddy bear by the arm.
