Desert Hike - The Hieroglyphics Trail in the Superstitions, Tonto National Forest, Apache Junction, Arizona

Finally got out from behind the computer for a beautiful hike into the Hieroglyphics Trail of the Superstition Mountains. We left early Sunday morning. Weather was just perfect for the hike. The total distance was about 1.8 miles from the official trail head. There were magnificent views of Mesa and Apache Junction to the West and wilderness are to the East.
