It was a weird, wild week last week to be sure. Fortunately, my in-laws were all able to go back to their homes safe and sound. I hope that everyone who was not so fortunate will be able to rebuild and back to living life in a short time.
And 200 cupcakes later! Many cupcakes were delivered to people in my database (and to some people not on my database, like the volunteers at our local Beach Cities Health District who were working to take the donated goods to help fire victims. First of all, I must extend my heartfelt sadness to those affected by the fires. On Sunday, October 21, my sister-in-law and her 2 children were evacuated from Escondido and went to stay with my mother and father-in-law in Valley Center. Yesterday, they were all evacuated from there, and have found a hotel about an hour away. They do not know at this point if either of their homes are still there. Let's pray this will be over soon, with as many homes as possible still standing.
