Basically it says that Ithaca's market is moving, the lower price ranges more than the higher ranges. There are many homes on the market and more coming on every day. It's that time of year when things start to "slow" down for some agents. I am happy to report that things are not slowing down for us in Ithaca NY. It seems the spring market came a little later this year and we are happy to be busy into the fall season. It's also that time of year when it's easy to get into a rut when it comes to business - the last of the summer weather is upon us and that makes it a little more difficult to want to work or want to be inside the office.

I'm wondering if the rest of the real estate professionals out there are feeling this way.... is it just me or are buyers more sketchy this year than ever? And why are they procrastinating? It's July 1 (well almost) and we are finally starting to see the "lake buyer's" and finally seeing the lake market hit. Are people really buying into the drive-by media? Are buyers still wary? Interest rates are at their lowest (common sense says they can only go up from here) inventory is abundant and varied and prices are great! What is stopping buyers? I'm interested to hear if anyone else out there is frustrated. And
