US House Prices Increase in 3rd Quarter! Charlotte, NC Market Steady - 11/25/09 08:56 AM
Looking for snippets of good news in the real estate market, I has happy to see that the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) just announced that US House prices increased .2% from the 2nd quarter of 2009 (seasonally adjusted).  Over the past year, from the 3rd quarter of 2008, housing prices have declined by 3.8%.  There was no change from the price index from August to September, 2009.

Speechless Sunday - The Garage-Ma-Hal - Best Place to Watch the Carolina Panthers! - 11/22/09 09:02 PM
This is the best place in Charlotte, NC to watch a Carolina Panthers football game...unless you actually get to go to the game.  It's the "Garage-Ma-Hal,"  Bill and Cindy Buchanan's garage-turned-Panther locale and memorabilia haven.  5 TVs, 3 recliners, 2 wet bars, and every square inch COVERED with Panther memorabilia.  NOW...if we ONLY had a team that was going to the playoffs.  Oh well...I'm still a big fan!
